Chairman – British Institute of Professional Photography Southern (2005 – 2009) Organising educational events including Photoshop workshops, lighting demos and workshops, marketing, multimedia & web, professional speakers, exhibitions & assessments.

Davis-Reviews (2005 – 2014) Photographer, journalist, interviewer and editor for print & web media.

Focus Business Communications (Pinegrove Studios) Video producer, and one of the original founders of FBC. Introduced multimedia CDROM & DVD Authoring, Web-Video, Website Design, Digital Imaging & Photography to the company. Client projects for the European Food and Information Council (EUFIC), The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA), The NHS, Health Protection Agency (HPA), DMS technologies, and VT Shipbuilding.

Music Video producer/director 3000AD Gangsta (Pete Devereux, Previously Artful Dodger). Animated video featuring Radio 1’s DJ Spoony and 1Xtra’s Ronnie Herel. Shown on VH1, MTV and Channel 4.

ShowROM(TM) Multimedia CDROM design and authoring for CDROM production, plasma screen displays, touch-screen monitors and presentations. Client Projects for Bacardi, VT Shipbuilding, IBM, Esporta, Zurich Insurancem, Hampshire Fire & Rescue Services, Ocenco / Royal Navy, Fortis Insurance, The NHS, Paultons Park and The London Dungeon. (Joint owner of the Trademark)

Photoshop tuition (2002 – present) Imaging and graphics for beginners through to advanced.

Pinewood Studios (1999) James Bond ‘The World is Not Enough’, Plunkett & Macleane, The Beach and more… (and proud to have worked in the building that was the original Toilet Factory ‘WC Bogs’ in Carry On at Your Convenience!)

Picture I.T. (1991– 1994) Advertising & Commercial Photography. Working for one of the South’s most respected photographers, Ray Humphreys FBIPP. Clients included Norwich Union, McKnight Crystals, Marconi, IBM, Selwoods and Norwich Union.

Hobbies & Interests

Gardening & home-grown foods, foraging, cooking, off-grid projects & building using recycled materials, recycled cooking oil fuel, Alice – my pet tortoise, camping, music and live music, hiking, travel (especially East Africa – Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa), classic cars & restoration (P4 Rovers), cycling, antique bicycles, gramophone players, vinyl records, animal sanctuaries, trying food from around the world, tea and cake.

Favorite claims to fame

Met, and had a paw shake from the Dulux dog!  In 1999 Stood next to Sylvia Anderson (voice of Lady Penelope – Thunderbirds) in a canteen dinner queue. Showed comedian Adrian Edmondson my Muppets vinyl records!
